MyBB 10th Birthday wine.

Not being able to contain our curiosity any longer, we opened the myBroadBand 10 year anniversary wine this evening to go with our dinner of pasta, spicy mince, red cabbage and mixed salad. It was a very good match indeed.

The Merlot is decidedly soft and lingering on the palate with a lovely aftertaste of red berries and a touch of tannins nicely balanced out. The colour and the light tannins seem to suggest that this wine is not very young.

It would be nice to know what the vintage of this wine is!

also opened my 1 bottle tonight. Going down very nicely ... but after two double wiskeys I am feeling a bit light headed. It is stroooong! :whistle:

So what whiskey was that?
 
I had some of it too - enjoyed it - until the hangover the next morning - but that may be due to the mixture of tequila, beer, cider and something else at the Rick's with the meet, along with 1.75L of Brandy after at a friend's place. :erm:

Still got one more I'm keeping sealed.
