Morning Guys,

Just a note with TS, try keep your backround noise out, I had to rage quite ts last night,
Due to what, I assume was porn, that someone was watching, while I was try to hear what was happening in BF3.

Worf, I didn't know you can get mad enough to rage quit. :D

I wasn't on last night, cause we were spending the night @ the inlaws, will hopefully be home tonight so I can play again.
 
Did any of you guys have lag on the servers. Was in the top 10 in some matches, others stone cold last. Loving the game so much, wish i could have a week of to play. Also what is the best setup for TS. Never used it before.

My wife's brother-in-law (where we were at last night) were playing when I was there, and from what I could see is that the serves were lagging like hell.

Using TS, is very easy, just download, install, connect to our channel.
You just need a headset and a mic.

ye had lag till about 9 but was fine afterwards. but ye cant believe im sitting at work and not playing bf roght now :(

The lag is server side, I was hoping the update on the server they did yesterday would resolve the issue but no luck.

I only notice the rubber banding in 64 players maps.


I only rage quit Ts, but continued playing BF3

I joined TS, said hi, it echoed and I heard the porn too. I quit.
 
I had a lot of rubber banding as as well. very annoying. i thought it was my 3g connection via 8ta.
Bf3 is still epic though. All the guys where i work only play COD. for some reason they don't like Battlefield. For me BF is way better than COD. Blops was crap SP and didn't really enjoy MP. Also bought Homefront. Played MP twice - That was a waste of money.

lol. Was cool to play with you last night czc. My first game I joined was a shocker, I got pwnd by the same damn sniper like 4 times. :D

I stay away from choppers :/

I hate when that happens. Happened at Tehran highway, I run down the road, get shot, 4 times. Eventually I jumped down the cliff and got him :D Pity I haven't figured out knifing.

Yea, what's up with the knifing? One used to be able to just press the scroll wheel to knife. Now you need to select it as a weapon (6 I think) and then hit the shoot button?

That kinda defeats the purpose, it does make it more realistic though.

Haha! Dude, how bad was that one game on Tehran Highway, where we grabbed all three flag thingies and converged on their spawn site... It was game over in less than 2 mins :p

Don't you just press "F" to knife? Or maybe "E", but I think its "F".

Dono, didn't have time to do it. I only had to look for it, to break fencing. When I got jumped by someone I just hit him with my 9mm in the face :D, that was kinda epic, I think he was just as new as me and trying to find his knife. We where running and jumping at each other for a few seconds and then I got my 9mm out by accident and first shot hit him in the face.

Haha, epic :D

On the first night I was playing, I tried to run some guy over with my humvee, which he dodged somehow. We both fell down a small cliff to a lower road and my vehicle was disabled. So the guy looks at me through the side window and starts attacking the door with a knife :D I open the door, shoot him in the face, repair the vehicle, and I'm off again :D I really enjoyed that little moment :)

Knifing is still the same press "f" to do it or remap it to a better key. only current issue is when u knife, get your popcorn out and watch the cut scene. Don't try knife when u got guys around cause you are a sitting duck while knifing someone.

I managed to sneak up to two sinpers on a building, they where right next to one another. I wasn't convinced I was going to be able to knife them both, but for some reason the 2nd guy didn't click, so I got him 2 :)
It's the most satisfy way to kill a sniper.

And for the life on me you can't knife someone in the face, it seems to only work from behind.
