You guys gotta stop saying you suck, if you feel you are not good then find ways to improve. I know gaming is just something fun but surely part of the fun is developing your skills?

Go onto rush and RUSH. The best way to learn a FPS is to go rambo. It teaches you reaction, quick thinking. Most important thing is don't be static, when you meet someone head on move left and right while shooting. You need to mix rambo with sneaky.

Come on now, no point saying i suck. Just get in there and find a weapon you like and run with it. I find using different classes and guns will limit you because you get to know a kit/gun well. I use certain guns only with certain kits because i know i trust it more than any other weapon available to the class.
 
I will play recon if necessary.

M95 + magnum ammo + C4 = very annoying enemy. This player though would not be part of the normal 2 squads though but rather focus on C4ing tank etc

+100, playing tonight i found strafing an enemy, going left or right, pretty much guaranteed a kill, while going head on was more luck of the draw

Anyway good game tonight Delta Squad, we won quite a few best squad awards, shot for all the revives pitbull
 
We also need to sort out communication on TS (ie. the 2/3 squads).
Each squad should have a squad leader giving orders and the squad must actually listen to the squad leader and stick togethere.
We should carefully come up with at least 2 full squads with assigned classes to each player.
 
Also saying I need ammo does not help. Maybe your name needs ammo. ie TheRif needs ammo. Something like that?

hey guys sorry about the dismal playing lastnight:o I got 0/7 in one game haha:p 2year old with a peashooter would have owned me :whistle: just could not get my eye in,but ill play recon from now hey...imajin was right in saying we are"good" at defense so maybe our basic strat would be to take the 2 flags nearest our main base,and defend each one(find well covered spots with good visibility)with a squad...3 players in the base and a 4th recon further out with good visibility of the whole area to spot players and warn of where the enemy are(and to suppress with sniper fire ;) ) just basic,and I do think we need to get some classes and captains sorted here on myBB so we know when we actually play.

@Aqua -do you use auto detect yor voice on your mic,I found mine sounded like yours when I used that,so I changed to button method and it worked fine I think,and also putting the mic quite close to your mouth
 
It was really fun last night guys. Being able to speak makes it just that much more fun.

What I did with the microphone was increase the sensitivity to about 75% Hope I was clear enough with no creepy breathing :p

Dude everyone has bad days, its just like that.
Its one thing to be good at defense but you need to think on your feet if you are going to do that. The ticket bleed isnt what it was in bf2 so holding the flags doesnt get the ticket count down fast enough, you need the kills too. your idea with the recon is not bad, but what you should do is change the spec for the recon. Spec them with C4 a good shotgun and use the motion mines. Make sure you spot at *everything* and then if you see them coming for the base lob a motion mine in there and pop the c4 you already left on the flag.
Bear in mind that a team you play in a clannie is *nothing* like the people you will play on public servers. They will have medics and a single recon will only be an annoyance to them trying to pick them off at a distance.

I see what you mean about having to get kills,but they going to have to kill us to get our tickets down,and if we are waiting,defending our own flags,they are going to come look for us,and its always better to suprise then be suprised.And I agree with your sniper idea,sounds good,although like you say firing from a distance is an annoyance,which is basically what you want,you want them taking cover and spotted so your guys at the base can flank them,although always easier said than done :p I think most important thing about being a good recon player is haveing a great spotting position/vantage point,I find it alot easier killing guys when I can see them on the mini-map

how do I increase the sensitivity?because when I put it at auto detect its very quite.

In windows under the control panel, you should have sounds and audio hardware. Search through that for recording and change the setting there.
