To prevent derailing the Home brewing thread, I've moved this here.

As I mentioned in that thread, I'm not the creator of this app, but I do know the creator.
That, however, has no bearing on the fact that I think it's a great app.

Very slick and a humongous amounts of data.
You can see 100s of different craft beers, who makes them, who sells them, what people think of them.
Future features include specials and events.

Available on iOS and Android.

It would be nice if you could have a look without needing an account.
For some reason the skip does not work for me.

Yeah, we found that same bug yesterday. Apparently a fix is imminent.
Sign up anyway, it's worth it, imho.

I'm just not a fan of spam, and beer spam makes me thirsty which gets me in trouble

I've received a grand total of 1 email from them (my activation email). All the rest come through as push-notifications, which you can turn off.

Well can you implement it, or ask them to? :P

I can see I'm running the risk of either being called a fanboy, or a developer in disguise ;)

Definitely not the second one, though I'd be happy to claim it if it was me.

Regarding your request, I'll pass it along, but you can just send feedback through the app (that way it's not just me bugging him the whole time, which might add more weight to your request ;))

I've tried the app to and it's pretty good. great for craft beer enthusiasts

We hate spam just as much as the next guy! Both the push messages and the email messages can be turned off. In fact, about 10-15% of our users do exactly that. The app itself has an inbox which allows you to see your messages without email or pushes. :)

Yes, this has been fixed. We will publish the new version today. Google Play takes a few hours to make a version live, so by tomorrow morning there should be an update available.

Good Job.

Just wanna say used this app a bit more and it's really good. Well done!
