When I took out a MyChoice TopUp R75 contract with a free 3g modem, I was under the impression that it works like prepaid in that once your R75 for the month is up you will have to top it up with prepaid vouchers before you can use the service further.

I also have another prepaid sim on which I normally load data bundles and I though I was using that sim. Tonight I realise that I was actually using the topup contract sim and thought I had better check if there is a problem because I used much more data than R75 but wasn't cut off. So I checked on MTN Active and sure as hell there is a couple of hundred bucks worth of PSD calls that I was charged for on the TopUp account. How can that be right? Wasn't I supposed to be cut off when my R75 ran out?

Hi
There are two contracts, one is the MyChoice 75 and the other is the MyChoice 75 Topup.

The MyChoice 75 allocates R75 Rand value and once depleted, continues billing as a normal contract.

The MyChoice 75 Topup allocates R75 Rand value, once this is depleted it stops billing until the user decides to load prepaid airtime.

You need to confirm with the SP that you took out the contract with that you are indeed on the correct option, I do however suspect that you are on the incorrect plan.

If you PM me your number I can confirm which option you are currently on.
