EA has already stated that this is not true. Also this news is about 2 weeks old.
im not gonna invest in any new console hardware until post 2012, already the new Nintendo console is due for release end of 2012 and i expect the other console players to follow at least with some announcements to make their fans at ease!
First I heard of it... Then again I don't exactly go "hunting" for Xbox news...

I would be really pissed if this were to happen, seeing as I have invested so much into my xbox already and I'm not keen on upgrading at the moment
