Sorry man thanks, its the atv 582 - that only shows android 4.4

As far as i know the chip is the problem so you will have to stay on kit kat

The Mygica ATX 582 does not support Android 5. According to their support staff, they cant optimise android to run the device. So it may never come.

The ATX 495 Pro has Android 5 and is certified to run Netflix in HD

Check the MyGica forum, quite useful.

You should download the new Kodi version they have put there.

But I tried to download it and it says parsing issue when trying to install it.
That's why i wanted to upgrade

They've made a special Kodi 17 version for the 582 since the normal version doesn't work.

That's the one.

You can put it in a USB stick and then I don't remember how to do. Something with app installer in Android.

Thanks installed it but it won't allow me to view my network shares. Everytime I enter user and password nothing happens like it does t allow me in to that folder

Sorry for the necro, but I have this box too.

Netflix runs like ass, the UI is terrible. Anyone running this with the latest firmware able to confirm if it makes it any better?
