MySignal Version 6.0

Fixes and Changes

1. TX Only
It has been brought to my notice that several modems need their CTS (Clear to Send) lines set for communication acknowledgements.
This is mainly noticable when only the TX light flickers and not the RX light.
In many cases the user assumed the modem was faulty until the original IPWireless logon application was used.
MySignal has thus had its DTR (Data Terminal Ready) set on, thus bringing the RTS (Ready To Send) line high.
This will inturn trigger the modems CTS (Clear To Send) line, forcing the required handshake.

2. Measuring Display
Over time it has been noticed that tha maximum signal strength available is 50%.
The signal Measuring graphic display has thus had its maximum changed from 100 to 50.
This makes the display bigger and easier to read when adjusting from a distance.

Download MySignal 6.0

;)

This is still the BEST signal monitoring software around. Better than anything available for IBurst too so well done ProAsm.

HI I have downloaded my signal v 6.1 and am trying to connect and am getting this message

Unableto open Com Port (Win error code:32)

Any advice?

Also is there a nwer firmware update than version 5.0.1.68m ?

Try re-configuring the Comport in MySignal, think its the 3rd icon.
I dont have mywi anymore as I left the company.
I think thats still the lastest firmware.

What is the difference between a phone operating at 5.8 MHz and one at 6.0 MHz?
I know that one Hertz refers to one cycle per second, and that 6.0 MHz is 6 million Hertz per second, but what exactly does that mean in regards to the phone's performance. Does it mean it will get a stronger signal or what?
