MySQL - error

i have this problem on freeweb7 can someone please assist me as i am trying to get the site up and running so that i can start working on the design and everything

The installer could not select database: 'admin'

Looks like you've switched the user and db names around. Just guessing, but I think it's more likely to be admin@localhost for db "inovateq'.

Please keep all your queries in one thread rather - then its easier to see how far you're getting.

nope cos in the 2nd step it accepts the server and by the looks of things it is taking the info from there for the final step cos not re entering the info at all just putting my admin username and password in but still kicks me in the ass and says access denied

It did say on that FAQ yesterday that Joomla and Mambo are not suitable for that host - it may be that they're preventing you from finalising your install.

http://100webspace.com/ is a free LAMP host you may want to look at. I know that they don't have a problem with Joomla!.
