Has anyone had any general issues with MyUS UK and US offices/services recently?
I've recently used both the US and the UK services for a number of smaller parcels to be consolidated and sent here.
The US one just seems to randomly allocate what they think is a quantity and value of a received item, whilst the UK one seems to deem everything as "flammable" and unable to be sent to SA - all items are either specific Funko vinyl collectibles, small Lego parts or scale model diecast parts, so nothing that would be deemed "flammable per their handling rules.
I've also noticed that although all parcels have a USPS tracking number for the US parcels, or a Royal Mail/Hermes tracking number for the UK parcels, as well as all sender details, both MyUS offices simply don't capture those details into the Suite, so it's nigh impossible to track what each smaller parcel actually is - when you have 20+ parcels at each service, it becomes a nightmare to follow and ensure all have been received, as you only have the estimated parcel weight and an incorrect product cost.
On the product cost, they randomly inflate the purchase cost to ridiculous levels (supposedly based on current market values), so nearly every parcel now has to be questioned, with an invoice uploaded for them to validate. When you can't ascertain which parcel is which, it causes other issues as well, as the invoice doesn't match the parcel content ('cos they're looking at a different parcel...)
I refuse to pay US$12.50 to have photos taken of every parcel received (the products don't cost $12 in most cases), simply because they can't capture parcel details correctly - the service in general seems to have bottomed out for them recently and it's just become more of a ball-ache to use them.
Are there any other decent alternatives that can be considered in the US and UK?
