Has anyone had any general issues with MyUS UK and US offices/services recently?

I've recently used both the US and the UK services for a number of smaller parcels to be consolidated and sent here.

The US one just seems to randomly allocate what they think is a quantity and value of a received item, whilst the UK one seems to deem everything as "flammable" and unable to be sent to SA - all items are either specific Funko vinyl collectibles, small Lego parts or scale model diecast parts, so nothing that would be deemed "flammable per their handling rules.

I've also noticed that although all parcels have a USPS tracking number for the US parcels, or a Royal Mail/Hermes tracking number for the UK parcels, as well as all sender details, both MyUS offices simply don't capture those details into the Suite, so it's nigh impossible to track what each smaller parcel actually is - when you have 20+ parcels at each service, it becomes a nightmare to follow and ensure all have been received, as you only have the estimated parcel weight and an incorrect product cost.

On the product cost, they randomly inflate the purchase cost to ridiculous levels (supposedly based on current market values), so nearly every parcel now has to be questioned, with an invoice uploaded for them to validate. When you can't ascertain which parcel is which, it causes other issues as well, as the invoice doesn't match the parcel content ('cos they're looking at a different parcel...)

I refuse to pay US$12.50 to have photos taken of every parcel received (the products don't cost $12 in most cases), simply because they can't capture parcel details correctly - the service in general seems to have bottomed out for them recently and it's just become more of a ball-ache to use them.

Are there any other decent alternatives that can be considered in the US and UK?

So, my UK package was consolidated once they sorted out their internal allocation issues, I chose the DHL option to SA as have used that before on other couriers from the UK.
MyUS indicated a USD $92 cost for the consolidated parcel with insurance, which I authorised via Paypal yesterday evening.

This morning, I see a charge of USD $167 for the consolidated parcel has gone through - how? I've queried with both them and Paypal, as that is ridiculous - I could have used Aramex or Fedex for under USD $100... they seem to have a good scam going there from the UK side, inflating the charges at whim. I will not be using or recommending them again for UK services.

The US does not have this issue, irrespective of what carrier you use - the cost they indicate is what they charge.

Maybe they hammered you on volumetric weight.

Do consider if you want to order via MyUS. The Yen is cheap these days and sometimes it's worthwhile to go via Buyee.jp (Tenso). They have 45 days worth of free consolidation period and their DHL pricing is not bad. It's cheaper than EMS/airmail.

Many thanks, just checked the shipment details and they've split the consolidation into 2 boxes instead of one for some unknown reason - unsure why, as the contents would easily fit into a single 40x30x30 box. Weight is just on 5kg, so not excessive either. .

Had larger and heavier consolidations before without this issue, so something must have changed.

I see on reddit lots of people complaining about MyUS.
I've used stackry with success but their shipping rates are higher.
Does anyone have any other recommendations? I want to bring a laptop in
