Mywireless/Router

Assuming the following :
1. nowire (menlyn) would get off their backsides, respond to my emails and/or come do a signal test
2. signal quality is fine
3. this post is not too much off topic

it's time to do some planning:
Looking to put in a wireless router, connecting 3 machines (1 laptop, 2 pc) and possibly a printer. Distance not a huge factor so fixed/removable attennas might not be important. Connections would probably be as follows :
Mywireless to router - ethernet
Printer to router - usb
pc to router - ethernet
(kids) pc to router - internal pci wireless or external usb wireless (need to get them out of my study []
laptop to router - pcmcia or external usb wireless

Anything I should be looking out for ? Brandnames to stay away from ? Been looking at the article in SACM April edition, so I'll probably base my decisions on that as well

I ve got similar setup to the one you are wanting, only problem is no MW yet!! I have the SMC Barricade G router via ethernet to one PC. SMC usb on the Kids PC and an SMC PCMCIA in the laptop. Works really well. Have had NO issues with the SMC equipment, and its pretty easy to set up. Hope that help.

Luke If you need a Singal test in Pta still drop me an Email I am an agent in PTA and will come and do a Singal test without a problem and can after the test if singal is found have you hooked up with the modem in minutes.
