Quite interesting, when I signed up 3 months ago, according to the zone locator, I had a good signal and in fact the signal was bad.

I thought I would look again today and see what they had to say. btw my signal strength has got better - now 3 bars (11%) with a dunlop can over the antenna. So what does the zone locator say - it says no signal can be obtained in my area.

So what is the point of this thread. Who knows, but what it tells you is that you must test before you buy and if it says no signal, test anyway, because there might be one.

Ours also changed from partial to good to no signal yet we are still connected.

Same here

Zonelocator says "no signal" and I get 13% working signal

Also get 25% signal from another tower, but it is 6Km away, so wont connect.

Hehe,

If any of you are connecting onto Tower12(Mintek) 253000Mhz ... the ZoneLocator saying one thing and the signal showing another ... its MY FAULT ;-)

[:D][:D]He who screams loudest and longest gets noticed.[:D][:D]

When the tower adjustments were made I lost coverage from 12. At this point I started phone, visiting and generally got obnoxious. After many a LOONG battle I eventaully got to someone managing the coverage planning for Gauteng - they updated the ZoneLocator to "SAFE" settings and readjusted Tower12 so that I had coverage.

Since then I've been less vocal ;-) ... But at the moment I'm looking into printing some t-shirts....
