n70 availability

could anyone at mtn please give an idea of when the n70 will be in stock (and dont say 2 weeks time)? I keep going to mtnsp canal walk and they keep telling me 2 weeks time... the first time they said that was 5 weeks ago.... hehe

Dude, don't go to the branches, All the N70 stock is being distributed by the service centre, which is also in Century City - Servistar(?) building next to the Shell Garage / Tyre place. Go there and and order it. I ordered in mid Feb and got mine 2 weeks ago.

They get 10-15 units a week, stock comes in on Fridays.

(The trick is that orders have 48 hours to collect, so call on Monday or Tuesday to see if any orders haven't been collected, before they get allocated to the next peeps on the list)

It's an insurance claim and i can only collect at canal walk... they put me on the list but I'm at number 40 or something... and i was in there on the 23/02

will pop in there at lunch tho and check if there are any that havent been collected... thanks for the tip

I got mine on Friday (only decided I wanted one on Friday). It's just called perseverence. I called every single Vodashop in the western cape (excluding Worcester and Malmesbury and further away). The only one that had stock (1 left) was Parow Mall/Sanlam Centre. Oh, and the people at the N1 city Vodashop told me that the phone wasn't released yet. Haha.

Good luck trying to find one, though. Apparently it is a very popular phone and in very short supply.

i waited about 3 days for mine, it was a breeze!
I'm at Autopage Cellular in Stellenbosch. the dude was super friendly and helped me out nicely.
it's strange that you need to wait that long.
