Hi there,

I was hoping someone could please help me. A couple of weeks ago a few buttons on my N95 8GB stopped working. I then sent it in to vodacom to be fixed but they sent it back saying it was water damage and they can't fix it. I've never dropped in any liquids though.

Now i was just wondering if anyone could recommend a place to take it to be repaired? I'm reluctant to just give up on it.

Any help is appreciated :) Thanks!

I once had a similar issue when I used my phone with wet hands while bathing. This caused the joystick on a Sony Ericsson to stop working, It started working again after a few weeks. “Official” shops don’t like to look at things like water damage which they deem to be your fault and not covered by warranty. Here in Cape Town there are numerous Pakistani operators. They work on anything. Perhaps just take it to a general cell phone repair shop (not one of the big three franchises). They’ll just want to sell you a new phone.
