Has anybody got the wifi sharing working.
i cant browse the network or browse from the network onto to the phone.:confused:

im not sure what you mean...
if you mean browsing your network on the phone....how do u do that? im also lost...as for using your network to browse the internet from your phone > that works 100%

then how do u browse the phone from your network > not sure > think its something to do with HOME NETWORK setting...ill try it later

I also wan t to know something: Can the phone be used as a wifi modem?
example: at the moment i use the phone as a HSDPA modem for my laptop....
can i use it as a wifi modem?
 
there is an option where you can share your files. i want to browse those shares . i dont think you can use it as a wifi modem. but ill check...
 
thats similar to what i asked, but nobody could answer me.

instead of using bluetooth to make a dial up connection, could one use wifi????
 
There is no such thing as a Wi-Fi modem :confused: All routers need a WAN connection, be it ADSL, 3G, etc.
 
Ok this might be a stupid Q but id like to know if i had a router would i be able to connect it to my sentech modem (usb) and and then be able to use wifi?
one more thing is it possible to call landline or people without voip using voip..
 
Short answer... probably not, most/all? routers do not have USB for the wan connection.

I connect through our router at work, which has a 3G/HSDPA connection, and I connect through my home router which is ADSL.
 
Well, as long as you connect some kind of a modem to the router, and as long as the modem/router is able to make a connection to the net, then YES.
 
I only use voip to call landlines and cellphones!in sa and overseas calls.
You pay though-but really cheap rates.example to sa landline its 10c per minute.
I call my friend in canada on his cell for free!

Ok look im on vodacom so how much do you think a voip call with the cheapest software would be for a 30min call?

I want to use wifi on my n95 but it asks for a pre shared key were can i find it?
 
It is created in the router setup, under wireless security. You would need to get it from the admin if it is at work.
 
Is it possible for me to play music or videos from my pc to my phone? is so then how do i do it because i thought that home network thing could do that but i cant seem to use it...
