Hi does anyone know if any mtn durban branch has the n96 in stock? was phoning around the whole day and i dont think anyone does:(

I should know by 9 o clock if someone has stock, but it will probably be allocated.
You will have to phone them and ask if it is reserved.
Stock should be coming in soon though.

hi mtn is the cheapest so far so was thinking about upgrading my contract , i dont mind any network if its cheaper than mtn:)

South Coast, i havent seen any delays on our daily stock updates! however i guess most stores are reluctant to stock the phone as its extreamly expensive we retail the N96 at R12399.00 so its a tad on the excessive side. Personally speaking il either wait for the 5800(Tube) N97 or N85 the N96 is to plastic for the price.

stock is scarce, but the warehouse should start sending it out soon.

Agreed. N96 certainly doesn't feel like a R12000 phone!

You seem to have inside info from MTN. You work for them?

Why anyone would get an N96 at that rediculous price when there are so many better phones is a mystery to me. I have checked out 2 N96's. The 2nd time just to see if I was possibly wrong about my initially unimpressed first opinion but nope. Ripoff. Nice phone but should cost MUCH less. I would recommend waiting to see if the N85's price drops with next month's new contracts since it is just as good.
