N97 - How are you protecting it?

When I got my N97 I was really concerned that it would scratch up quickly. To my surprise mine has been quite resilient even after one or two drops!! (ok we are excluding the camera scratching issue here)

So after dropping the phone a few times I thought it might be appropriate to get some sort of cover. I have seen a few, all with their pros and cons and this one below was the cheepest and most practical at only 3 Pounds (I had someone in the uk bring it back for me)

It works perfectly for me and will even sustain some of the drops. It has no screen protector though (in hind site I should have left the packaged one from Nokia, on)

Anyone else have anything special......how are those stick on things, easy to apply?

Eish i'm not....struggling to find anything for the device. Retailers are just promising delivery, so i guess i gotta wait. My t'screen looks like a spider web with all the scratches, luckily i left the screen protector.....but will have to change it soon as it makes the device look tacky

Actually just checked my screen now......with no screen protector I can hardly notice any scratches, and I use pens, keys and all sorts on it. Ive heard the Bodygardz protector has some scratch resistant properties.

What i've got on mine, is Zagg's InvisbleShield, and I'm waiting for my pouch to arive...

The invisisheild is awesome. Full body shield - front(screen) & back cover, and like plenty small pieces to cover the whole N97...
Just waiting for the leather(yeh yeh) pouch to arrive, then sorted...

Don, how easy was that to apply? I heard some people battle to get rid of the bubbles. How many sets did you get with yours?

Yes, can agree that it's hard to get rid of the bubbles, you have to make sure that you also spray your fingertips and the shield properly before you apply other the fingerprints will be evident.

spiderz, yes, thats the one I've got.

Lf, i took my time with the installation... but as for the bubble problems, I've got none, sprayed the solution on fingertips and on both sides of the shield, then used the supplied squeegee to "take out" the remaining solution and bubbles.

I've gotten 2 sets of shields with mine, I've believe some people only got one set...
