Naked adsl

So, did the naked adsl thing ever happend? In other words, can I have adsl without having to pay for a unused land line of R189 per month.

Also, is it possible to have adsl if you only have the telkom pre paid line? (There was a pot about this back in 2008, bit outdated)

This why Telkom are set to lose another customer to a competing fibre provider.
If they dropped the line rental then my 10mb ADSL wouldn't be much different from 10mb fibre prices.

My uncapped 10Mb ADSL with Line rental comes to the same as a 10Mb Uncapped Fibre On Telkom - well at least until end of march at least.

Line rental... There was rumours that Telkom were going to do away with that like last year June if im not mistaken but seems like its never going to happen

And if they ever do (unlikely), they'll incorporate the lost revenue into the naked ADSL products.
