i want to know if there is a gaming os of windows, ( stripped of drivers and other useless stuff) i know ubuntu has a gaming os, but not many things support linux

Can't see how. Just a bunch of words forming sentences I don't want to bother reading. I think the OP meant an install that will cut out most of the crap Windows installs. Something like Windows XP Black (or something) where it's a headless install and only installs the necessary **** and gives you the option to install other utilities they find useful.

I'm not sure what he was referring to hence the mention of vLite just in case he's referring to Vista/7.
 
There isn't very much in Windows that actually interferes with gaming performance. In any case you'd want to have 6gb ram minimum to have a competitive gaming rig, which should cope with any resource hogging Windows applications. Seems a bit pointless to me.

well i am busy with that, but was just thinking there may be alternative. iv used hirens boot cd and booted into mini xp and tell u what, its nippy, im running win 8 now and its fast. well guess ill keep at it then.

There is tiny 7. Vista Gamers Edition and tiny xp aswell if I'm not mistaken. Or you can try ReactOS. It's build to be exacty like Windows 2000/XP and it is a 150mb iso. Be aware it is still in Alpha stages and been so for 15 years because of it being a part time job. Also the games it support is probably limited aswell. It's also proudly South African. Lol.
