1. Ordered items online from a company selling maternity wear.

2. Made a payment to their account on 3 Feb.

3. Followed up with numerous e-mails on status of order.

4. Received a tracking number via e-mail on 22 Feb.

5. Unable to track the parcel - the message given is that the parcel cannot be found on the system.

6. Made several calls and sent e-mails to company to check and either get no answer or an aswer saying they are "investigating".

7. Left voicemail for company rep to get back to me with progress.

8. When I call today, she switches off the phone or let it go to voicemail.

9. How long should I give them before laying a charge of fraud / claiming back my payment / naming and shaming them on every forum I can think of ?

Pay by credit card? Get the bank to reverse it.... since she hung-up on you, I'd report it now.

I think you've been patient enough. It's 4 weeks since you parted ways with your money and you still have no clear indication of where your products are.

Point 6 and 8 really worries me.

What time period is delivery supposed to be in? If it's more than a week past their delivery time, stop being nice.

The fact that you were given a tracking number, and the company who does the parcel handling has no clue what/where it is - would have me calling the bank. Couriers give you a tracking number for a reason.

Fsck em, they had their chance. Open a can off whipass on them ;)

I am glad I waited before doing something rash about the supplier - I called the post office and they say the parcel has arrived.

They still deserve naming and shaming for that service. It's unacceptable for a business to just ignore customers.

So far, so good, thanks :)

Honestly I would still name and shame. There is no excuse for poor service delivery in the private sector, just because the public sector is shyte. South Africans are far too accomodating of people like this.

If it was Fraud the sales rep's actions are understandable. She was avoiding you. Now that the package has arrived and you know its legit, her actions are actually worse. She was not giving you any useful feedback whatsoever. She avoided you, rejected calls. That is really poor form.

Name and Shame is what I say. Help SA service delivery by weeding out those unfit to provide us services of any kind!

Good luck with the pregnancy.

Go round to their offices and give them hell! There is nothing scarier than an angry pregnant woman!

Mama She Bear protecting her cubs FTW!!!

So, hows the pregnancy?

I finally received the parcel.

The quality is not good, though, so in line with their returns policy, I am sending 2 items back.

So, hows the pregnancy?

The Ob/Gyn says all looks well :)

I am scared, though - it's my first baby and I worry about everything! That's me, though - a constant worrier!

Good luck and enjoy every moment of sleep while you can still have some :)

Amazing yet tiring experience.

My 'how is the pregnancy?' Question worked better when all your ranting threads were together ;)

Now I just look like a look repeating the question in different threads ...
