I'm trying to link namecheap to my non hosted domain. Problem is both want the other side done first.
Namecheap want it setup on host side first and Coza want namecheap first.

Do I need to host my domain in order to proceed?

My object is to get DNS setup for Google Apps.

I can set it up for you, I use a different provider.. You just have to pay for the Domain.. Will do the Google Apps setup for free.. PM me if you are interested..

Thanks for the offer mh348.

@zamrg - I already have webhostza nameservers. I now need nameservers with DNS control (for TXT-entry from Google). I'm having a look at afraid.org and zoneedit now, thanks.

If your sites pointing at the webhostza nameservers - then you should be able to edit the MX records via their control panel? I see they using WHM

Configuring Your MX Records: WHM

Thanks for the suggestion. After searching I found a very well hidden cpanel on webhostza's site - I swear it wasn't there before.:D TXT, MX records sorted and all my user accounts sent/receive mail.

And thanks to mh348 - a CNAME record now points to mail.mydomain.co.za at Google Apps.

Yeah, that's an easy one - it's in the google apps setup guide..

Hey cpu.

If you make use of the free nameservers from webhostza, you do get access to cPanel.

The MX records function has always been there for those who need it :)

Yeah, I can't believe I wasted a week searching for DNS servers when the one I had listed already have everything needed.

Edit: Do I need to do all the MX, TXT, CNAME stuff on only one host or the secondary host too?
