Namibia has been dealing with a drought of historic proportions. The government will now allow wild animals to be culled and their meat to be distributed to the rural population. But the move is highly controversial.

Good, just the other day I read they were running out of meat and wanted to kill wild animals to feed the population. But, now they can at least blame climate change. If the people is hungry, the people is hungry. Feed them wild animals if you have to.

Aka dog meat

Aka dog meat

When the Wild meat is gone, that and cat is next up. Nothing wrong with dog or cat food though. Meat is meat and a man must eat When SA hits this, I would not hesitate to braai the neighbours' cats and dogs.

Wild animals have fed the locals™ and colonial people throughout history. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

Absolutely nothing to be shamed about at all. The alternative may be to ghastly to comprehend.

Hell, even the West will do this when their people one day faces starvation due to bad government decisions. To hell with international laws and protection of wild animals. No shame in this. Just blame climate change and all is fine.

wonder what will happen when starvation hits, supermarkets run out of food, and you have a peach tree growing in your garden,

will people literally rob you with guns to take all the peaches off your tree?

I mean people will do horrid things when starvation hits, goes to show you our so called civilization is but a facade,
when the chips are down, we will literally kill/eat anything, including each other,

so much for Modern Humans being evolved and smarter than our cave dwelling ancestors.

That's why I love life in the countryside.
