We are currently interviewing potential candidates to work for us as a full-time nanny and domestic-worker.
We have drafted a contract that addresses her salary, working hours, job-description, rules etc.
What advice do you guys have regarding the handling of the contract and the contents of it, or any other advice? We will make sure we do not pay less than the Government Gazette stipulates and in line with what other people in the area pay, but what is the best way to structure her package, I want to keep the wages to an hourly rate, with separate food and transport costs to allow for flexibility when increases are due.
Also, are you allowed to ask the employee to be tested for HIV? How the hell do you handle her answering yes or no, providing its even legal to ask..
