Taking a long shot here. But does anyone have a NAS or DAS (raid system) that they would like to get rid of?

Im trying to find one with preferably 5 bays but 4 will work just fine aswell.
I have an old terrastation but i cant upgrade it.

thank you.
All help is greatly appreciated

I have a Netgear ReadyNAS 2100 with 4x 3TB drives that I am thinking of selling.

Runs like a charm but have no need for it anymore.

I'm in CT - where are you based?

Im looking to put some WD red 3TB into one, preferably 5 drives, but 4 will do aswell.

There is a Lian-li ex-503 case that I can get brand new for around 3.5K

Yes, that's the older model Microserver from the one I linked. That's a good option but I'd make very sure it was still under warranty as these units are basically not serviceable at all - if something like a network port on the motherboard breaks you need to replace the board which costs more than the unit itself.

If it's out of warranty then it depends on the price, if it's a really good deal then take it.

guy is letting it go for around 1K.
he says that the onboard Network port has stopped working but he a NIC to replace it thats been working fine.

That is a very good deal, I'd probably take it for that price.

Just one thing I'd be worried about is if that onboard LAN failure wasn't indicative of something else failing on the board too. This happened to my old Microserver, the onboard LAN died then a few weeks later the entire board died too. But for that price I'd probably risk it.
