Been to the real deal at both Richmond and the big one, Charlotte 500........The vibe is great, the smells are awesome, the sound and thunder is just that... you feel the earth shake. the hotdogs and balony burgers are expensive and gives you indigestion..........what did I forget........of yea, the racing...BORING.

But, October I will do it again..;-)..........the spectacle and tailgate braai afterwards are worth it.

I don't know hey - I mean the TV rights to this will probably be expensive, not to mention we have a national culture of NOT going to production class racing, or any other form of racing only drag racing and illegals. Have you seen that show on SS where they preview and review the weekends racing, the stnads are EMPTY as hell, I vowed this year I want to go watch production car racing, because all the good cars are racing there, plus the 147 GTA is back in group B or C I think...

We should really start supporting our local racing, which always makes me wonder, if there is litterally NO fans, how do they keep the teams racing season after season???
