Nashua Mobile calls it quits

Good... they were a bunch of sharks. Guess the consumer voted with his wallet.

Good shot. Would love to a fly on the wall of all the peoples who offered me ZERO help when I had problems with them screwing me over with my bill, when they realise they are going to be without work soon.

Interesting indeed, heard a while ago that Nashua is busy with other ICT developments, or increased effort thereof.

I think most people saw this coming....eventually.

I'm actually surprised that Autopage Cellular didn't go first....they are pure scum.

What I do miss is Nashua Electronics. They had very competitive pricing and by far the best warranty policy.

I dont understand why someone would use a middle man in this case.

Just use MTN directly, why use Altech and other nonsense?

I agree, but perhaps they will give someone a contract who doesn't qualify for one at Vodacom or MTN directly. Who knows.

My Fathers business has over 200 Contracts from Nashua Mobile. They were that particular Branches biggest customer. You need a Middleman to help with the Monthly Upgrades and issues with phones etc. Not exactly sure what they will do now...

As a retired home user I have used NashuaIsp for years and was reasonably satisfied.
Then the renewals crept up and the ADSL speed was throttled to 384k and below in spite of Telkom boosting the speed.
They also charge R79 me per Gig for topup.
Then I saw notice that the Mobile section was selling off.
So I am moving my little business.

Finito.
