Thought I might try here as I have sent emails and even phoned.

Does anyone know anyone at Nashua Mobile?

This morning I recieved the following email:
Hello,

Please find attached the Specials held by Nashua Mobile for June 2005.

No I am not a Nashua subscriber and had no idea how they got my email, and was not to happy as it was 3.3 megs. but I read it anyway. Problem I received the email 4 times!. I replied to Calvin and he said he would check up with his IT department and was sorry for the problem. Well not I'm fuming! I have recieved the same email now almost 15 times today (over and above the first 4) I have tried to phone, and tried to email but No response. Is this what Nashua does to customers. As if Data was not costing us enough already in SA, they make it worse by bombarding you with 62megs of SPAM!

If anyone knows anyone or who I can contact please let me know. There where about 450 other email addresses on the email list as well who I am sure are also quite upset at this point.

PS: Just received another 2 while typing this up!...

62MB... ouch!

don't know who you can contact, but if your email client supports it, maybe you can try and set it to only download the headers, and not the whole email message? Or apply a filter that will keep the messages from being downloaded altogether?

just a workaround, i know, but at least you won't use up so much data...
