Please check if you can get to the websites below since nashua helpdesk is just blowing me off, and I haven't been able to get to a bunch of websites for ages. (All other browsing is fine.., and I've tried different browsers, os's and machines).

They are:

www.logitech.com
www.garagegames.com
download.macromedia.com (the path to the 64-bit linux flash)

Tracerts all show a timeout at the same server...

Code:
C:\WINDOWS>tracert www.logitech.com

Trace complete.

I reported this and they got Verizon to fix a broken circuit, but now the problem is back and they won't acknowledge it, so they aren't trying to fix it.

If you also can't get to those sites I can at least point them to this thread and get them to report it to Verizon again.

...

Just get a real ISP. www.axxess.co.za

I use axxess when my cap runs out, which is how I know it to be a nashuaisp specific problem.

But since nashuaisp don't want to acknowledge the problem, I need other nashuaisp users to try get to logitech and then post here so I can point nashuaisp to the thread so they'll see it is a general problem and will get Verizon to fix it (again).
.
PS: I checked with http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ and logitech is up. (The garagegames site appears to be working now, but logitech is still timing out).

eXisor, why don't you report it directly to Verizon?
It could save you some time...

Actually, that is a very good idea... I'll send them my tracert and see what they say...

It'll be a breath of fresh air just to speak to someone else TBH...

Errr... Anyone know how to contact their SA branch? google brings up verizonbusiness.com, but LOL, I can't get to it and get the same tracert timeout!

OK, so I just phoned Verizon and wow, what a pleasure to talk to someone that knows their stuff... After changing to their dns servers I could get through to www.logitech.com, thus proving it is the nashuaisp dns servers that need to update their tables or flush their caches. (Which I'd already done by changing isp to axxess and being able to reach logitech, but whatever).

But can I get someone at nashuaisp to look at it? Noooo. But then their helpdesk doesn't know what a dns server is so....

So how do i get to speak to someone of sufficient technical level to know where their problem lies?

Another idea: Register at http://helpdesk.nashuamobile.com and keep clicking on "Reopen Ticket" until they listen...

LOL...

But I've given up.... I've hardcoded the axxess dns servers to circumvent the issue completely.

Thank you those who posted...

For those who haven't.... It's too late. I can't be boffered anymore.

:)
