Naspers profit plummets by R147 billion

Naspers has released its annual financial results, reporting an over 46% decrease in profit from $18.5 billion (R318 billion) to $9.95 billion (R171 billion).

Sister company Prosus posted a similar performance, with its annual profit decreasing from $18.6 billion (R319 billion) to $10.0 billion (R172 billion).

You're missing a billion at the end of that first sentence, in the blurb and article.

R171bn less to be spent on new or recurring films. Unfortunately.

R171bn less to be spent on expansion, growth, creating employment.

Also, tell it to that CEO or board member who will not be getting a R171bn farm this year.

Also, SARS and the SA Government will need to accept that there are R171bn less to be taxed this year. So, for the grant recipient.... sorryeeeeeeeeeeeee!

But the fire is coming... And a multitude shall fakin celebrate.
