NAT with the telkom ethernet modem?

Hi

Has anyone managed to setup NAT with the marconi ethernet modem? I've tried telkom's support but, they were useless. Even told me that it can't do it despite the NAT config section in the web interface. I've been using the PAT feature which was simple to get working but its limited to 10 ports at a time.

I to have tried this to no avail many times for many hours. The only solution was to use ATM and do the NAT off one of a dedicated machine.

In my opinion the ethernet modem is a waste of time and money, and should not have been offered by telkom. For one it doesn't work properly without a firmware update(Needs constant reseting), and secondly these features such as NAT, DHCP etc(Which justify the cost of the modem) don't work properly.

I sugest you get a refund and buy a comercial ADSL modem or an internal one.
