People are just ignorant or something. Why would they shutdown the grid when the entire purpose of the rolling blackouts is to prevent the entire grid shutting down which would be really bad for the country?

Eishkom has warned that this might happen... but then we know they just need more money for parties. So threaten the people with a blackout and they will not complain about the price increase?

THAT WAS IN FEB 2011 - Facebook is FULL of 'scare-mongering' reposts of the pics - Google 'Duvha Power station explosion' - and read the articles!

They then had another as yet 'unexplained incident' in March 2014.
