Creationists believe that everything from the beginning up until the point of man only took 7 days to be created. Therefor a week. :erm:
There’s major technical errors in all these cycles anyways.
1 year (365 days) apart from leap years adding one more day. Resulting in 1 year = 365.25 days.
It’s a terrible but easy to understand look at cycles. From a technical point of view for the earth to make one total orbit around the sun requires every country to have new years at exactly the same time. Earth’s own rotation is irrelevant to its position relative to the sun.
Our orbit is also not a uniform circle and is distorted by gravity from the moon and other planets in the solar system. The orbit is actually a tad elliptical as well and if traced will look a bit different from what the general population expects.
Due to the amount of mass the sun loses every minute and the tides interstellar objects is causing to its hydrogen surface the earth’s orbital radii also increases with approximately 15cm a year. Not much but still affects it’s exact position.
The sun also moves relative to the centre of our galaxy and the galaxy along with Andromeda is cruising towards the great attractor.
Thus none of these cycles are accurate at all. I wonder how long it will actually take before South-Africa’s summer is in July?
