Ok, I own a Wii and am a big fan of Nintendo from the dawn of time when 8bit machines were the only other entertainement available next to VHS, Monopoly and if you were a geek like me...comics.
I stray from the point though.
What I am actually trying to say is...If there is any console machine that is pure and good then it has to be Nintendo.
But it seems that even Nintendo is not immune to the scourge of evil.
I was aghast to find two stories that are so clearly trying to slander the immaculate image of Nintendo.
So, done with my tirade, here are the 2 stories.
Both are available from N4G.com

Obesity expert is ‘aghast’ by Wii Fit
Following recent reports that supposedly perfectly healthy child was labelled overweight by Wii Fit, an individual from the National Obesity Forum has spoken to condemn the game. He remarks that a BMI measurement is misleading when used with children.
“I’m absolutely aghast that children are being told they are fat,” comments Tam Fry. “BMI is far from perfect but with children it simply should not be used. A child’s BMI can change every month and it is perfectly possible for a child to be stocky, yet still very fit. I would be very concerned if children were using this game and I believe it should carry a warning for parents.”
Nintendo has reportedly said today it would not be placing a warning on the game, but did apologise for any offence caused.
“Nintendo would like to apologise to any customers offended by the in-game terminology used to classify a player’s current BMI status, as part of the BMI measurement system integrated into Wii Fit,” commented a Ninty spokesman.
Nintendo bans Hitler from Mario Kart Wii online, lets Stalin and Osama slide
To keep in line with their austere “safe and fun” policy, Nintendo has banned the name Hitler from Mario Kart Wii’s online services. If you attempt to access the Wi-Fi Connection with your Mii licence set as Hitler, you will receive a message stating that such nick names are forbidden and that you must modify your Mii name to proceed. On the other hand, those who connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection as other notorious gentlemen such as Stalin and Osama will be able to do so without a message/disconnect.
