Hey guys

With NDS ROMS what does M5, M3 or M2 etc mean? I am seeing this mentioned and I have no idea what it is referring to.

Thanks

a flash card is a epmty nds game cartige ( well something like that ) that u can put a mirco SD card into with loaded nds roms on

yip, got me an R4:) best investment you'll ever make! except slowly but surely nintendo are finding ways to block flash cards. Normally patches are made which means you have to be willing to take up your time to fiddle around with the software on your flsh cart to get things working.

bingo. and M3, DSTT etc are different kinds u get

Ok, that's cool but the problem is I have only ever heard of an R4 card and now you guys are talking about M3, M2 and not DSTT.....

I think someone needs to give this a clear explanation. ;)

What the hell is it with this forum and piracy? People shouldn't be helping pirates!

Mr high-and-mighty, at what point was piracy mentioned here?

The internet is almost a limitless resource when it comes to information. My question was as a result of doing some research on Nintendo DS's and seeing mention of M3 etc on one site. Having absolutely no knowledge of the workings of a DS I asked the question.

Others have answered and mentioned flash cards. These are hardly a secret and any Nintendo DS search on google will expose you to their existence. Only deanstein could perhaps have been "accused" of encouraging piracy, but then again he could merely have been educating others as to Nintendos actions on this front.

Perhaps this "outburst" of yours has more to do with your own guilt? You seem to assume that this entire thread is about educating people on how to pirate stuff. To draw this conclusion you must have a rather advanced knowledge of this yourself.... R4, ROMS, flash cards etc would mean very little to the average man on the street
