Neat shutdown scheduler

My kid falls asleep every night to spongebob videos on his pc, and they're set on repeat - so I lie awake at night listening to it, because I'm too tired or lazt to get up and go switch his pc off. Yes, I know it's not good for him to fall asleep in front of the pc, it's more of a school holidays thing anyway...

So I found this neat little freeware app that will automatically shut down his pc every night. http://www.nonags.com/software.asp?id=2941

Just thought I'd share for interest's sake.

Could save a tad on electricity as well...

I also used a pretty good shutdown manager. cant remember the name.

used it a while back when i was using dislup and had that R7 call more plan... use to set the pc to shutdown at 6.55am everyday....

shutdown -s -t 1200

to cancel the impending shutdown
shutdown -a

nice one to use, but doesn't always work, specially if i've used musicmatch during the time the pc was on
