Need a Hospital Plan.. Tips?

Hi guys, I'm looking to get hospital cover incase I'm ever in hospital. Which hospital plans are you guys using as the only ones I find results for are Hospital-Cash back plans which I'll look into later but not now. Need a "plan" that wil attend to my hospital bills when I'm at the hospital. Tips, opinions and recommendations are please requested.

Tip: Most hospital plans only cover the bills if you are admitted. So say you knock your head, go to the emergency room and they stitch you up and send you home, you will pay. So make sure they admit you

Will keep that in mind.. thanks. Think I'm covered under that for the mean time on my dad's medical scheme but I'm about to be removed from the "hospital" benefit side.

All medical aids offer hospital plans. The hospital cash back plans are like insurance policies, that banks and other insurance companies offer.

Check if you current medical aid offers a hospital plan, and with all the other schemes – obviously price will matter to you, but what some people often don’t consider is how easily the medical aid will cover you e.g. some schemes wont cover you for x and y because that scheme doesn’t view the procedure as critical or something. Other things you may consider are the fringe benefits, e.g. discovery offers all their wellness stuff and other discounts.
