Need a laptop and need it today - help please

The overlord needs a laptop and he needs it today. His requirements:
- reasonably hardy
- budget between R10k and R15k
- amenable to Apple products
- needed today (we're in Cape Town)

So far, a Thinkpad T520 has been suggested. I just have to look at where to get it.

Since many of you know this stuff better and I'm operating on a lack of sleep and a long list of things to do, please help :)

Suggestions of what to get and where to get it, please. Including prices. Bonus points if they can deliver it.

What about the 13 inch mb pro at digicape?

The 13" dual core i5 or the 12999 or the 13" i7 for about 26.5 is decent but if he travels lots it will be heavy. My friend who is a consultant and travels as much as george clooney in up in the air uses a macbook air. Much better and with the ssd drive is quick.

The 13" for 12999 for the macbook air with similar specs to the macbook pro is quite nice. The air doesnt have a rom drive though but chances are yout boss will be using usb flash drives more. Just get ms office for it as well.

If he uses it for presentations suggest he use the ipad for that rather. I do and works like a charm and use my iphone as te bluetooth remote with my ipad.

No iAccessories, just the laptop :)
Yes, it should be able to withstand travel but still be sufficient for use as everyday machine.
 
Less urgent - will only be needed by this weekend.

Screen size? 13"/15"/17" ?
CPU - i5 or i7
Ram - as much as possible (at least 4Gb)
HDD - at much as possible (1tb), nothing less than 500GB except if sdd
does it need to have build in 3g?

You know as much as I do right now...
Probably doesn't need 3g.
