Need a small automatic car

Hi guys

I need a smallish (polo etc) car for my gf. Has to be automatic and preferably not too high mileage. She will only use it to travel within the city (Ct).

Looking at a price range between 50k and 80k. Could probably go up to 120k if it is a low mileage newish (2009) model but would prefer to keep it below 80k.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you can find one, the Atos is a winner - wife has one and been very happy with it. You can pick them up for R40-50K

It's a bit smaller than a Polo but an i10 maybe? You should be able to find a 2009 model in your price range, there's the slightly older Getz too. if that's too small then maybe a Honda Jazz?

Honda jazz would be my choice, Honda's are very reliable and if maintained properly those motors last forever.

Would not buy second hand i10, over priced due to demand. I ended up buying new in Feb last year as 2yr old models where 90% of new retail.

That does seem to be the case. the i10 Auto can be had new for just under 130k.
