I'm looking for a Virtual Private Network, I have come to a conclusion that my IP address is a Trivial matter to my online security, took me a while to get to it.

Can anyone provide a free vpn or show me some good ones for sale

I've found that UnoTelly's VPN is fantastic, costs $5 per month! I used Private Internet Access last year which at the time I thought was fantastic, its still a pretty good option though. Just be warned your speeds will slow down a little unless you can find a South African provider

IpVanish is has a South African server (johannesburg), although the speeds for it are the same as their London and Amsterdam servers.

If you search the internet you can find 20% off vouchers (for the first 3 billing cycles - monthly, quarterly, yearly). I do quarterly and it's about R250 with the voucher.

If you do decide on them and can't find a voucher. PM me and i'll point you in the right direction

Unotelly also offers local servers AFAIK, but the $5 a month only comes if you pay $60 upfront for the entire year

If i'm not mistaken tho, you're not allowed to download using any p2p application (torrents/usenet..) on the unotelly vpn. If you do then they'll cancel your account without a refund.

Anyone tried hidemyass or airvpn?

Hi there,

Have a look at http://www.proxpn.com/#features

I know my neighbor uses it, and he's overall happy with the performance, it also supports Android 4+ / iOS 4+

The premium option discount coupon is SN20

I would suggest using the openVPN feature.

Regards,

UnoTellys DNS servers are local but their VPN servers are international, you can use P2P on all servers except the American one
