Hi all

The factory fitted player with the 2008 focus cant play mp3 and take a usb ect

So i want to replace it with these dvd/mp3 players

Any idea which is a decent not to expensive to buy ?

Mainly something that could change button color or green as the clocks are green lit ..

So in essence you want a green lit MP3 deck?

I haven't seen any of the new decks come in green lighting. Maybe a cheapo like Logik or Sansui might.

There are many options you can do. Depending on what other features you want. All the Alpines come with green illumination for the buttons.

Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony all offer radio's with colour changing lighting so you can match it exactly the way you want.

You can either go for one of the Chinese NAV radio's or an aftermarket radio with trim plate and steering control interface.

Have you bought from them? I'm tempted to get one of these: http://www.stopshop.co.za/navigatio...-3g-wifi-gps-dvd-bluetooth-radio-dsp-obd.html

Shipping via DHL is R1077 & then there is still an installation fee.

Only one negative comment on HP.
I haven't bought one myself, but saw one in a friends car and he seemed happy with it.

I would take the obd2 and reverse cam options aswell as they don't add much extra to the price.

The quality isn't amazing. But it looks stockish and fits in with the rest of the dash. You might be better off with a brand name unit if you are going to be adding amps and other speakers and stuff though. But a single din in a trim plate looks horribly out of place in any modern car.

Brand name is unfortunately not an option since the trim of the dash is non standard.
The only option is the units sold by Stopshop, sound louder etc since they are designed to fit into the dash of whatever specific car you order for.

Unless you find a trim plate for the dash that allows a standard double din.

I know sound louder sells those too.
Planning on ordering one for my car but not sure if any are available for the Focus

We have been doing many Ford's over the years (including my own), you can fit any radio really, just depends on what you want from it. Trim plate and you can fit any standard double din radio. Or if you want single din.
