Hi, all!

Me again after a long, long silence, but now I really, REALLY need advice/help...

I moved from Durban to Kempton Park at the end of last month, and Telkom transferred my landline service to my new home in less than two weeks. They were really on the ball!!!

My problem is that I cannot connect my ADSL as yet, as I do not have the necessary ADSL filter/s - unfortunately they were left behind when the movers loaded my belongings, so I need to get some new filters.

Being very new to the area (I'm very close to Kelvin Power Station) I don't know where the nearest Telkom shop is located in this area where I can buy one or more of these filters. Anyone on this forum able to enlighten me, please? At the moment I'm using Vodacom connection, but the signal here is very poor and the connection cuts out at the most crucial moments. Very annoying!

Thanks in anticipation!

A filter is not always needed. Have you tried using your ADSL + telephone without one yet?

You can buy them from Game, makro, Ellies, Builders Warehouse, etc.

If the suggestions above don't help...use the Vodacom connection you have now and look up 'Telkom Direct Shop' in google maps/directions. You might be really close to one.
