Evening

Are there any crediable ICT Technical degrees, preferably part-time or corraspondance I can do while working full-time? Bit of a background, I love technology and currently hold a Diploma in Systems Engineering from Damelin (A+, N+ stuff ect Back In 2007), MCSE, MCDST, MTA/MVA, HPE and Google Administrator certifiates. The problem however is im not really seeing anything credible in South Africa. All the current IT Diploma's/Degrees from University's (For Example UNISA) seem more academic based on maths/science for programming carreers. Simply put, those qualifications don't interest me. Is there anything local one can have a look at? Or will I have to look international? Not really keen to study another certificate as I already have enough coming out of my ears (so to speak, lol). Look forward to hearing from you all.

Lots of certificates
but
Are they the correct ones ?

Cisco , Juniper , Linux Foundation , Fibre Optic Association

ALL can be done locally

Cisco will take you all the way up to CCIE ( more than one stream )

Cisco would be a option but thats another certificate. Ild prefer to look at a technical degree route if one exists.

Far as I know nearly ALL IT degrees are orientated towards programming / development
Unless you do something like an IT business science qualification

http://www.rosebankcollege.co.za/qualifications/bachelor-of-it-in-business-systems

You need to do a search on -- Business Information Systems

PS ;
Before applying I would consider investing in a -- SPELL CHECKER !

English is not my primary language. Also, this isn't a formal setting. If it was everything would be spellchecked to the T. However I appreciate your constructive criticism.

SOMEONE
IS always watching

Why do you think employers go and have a look at prospective employee facebook pages ?

As to spellcheck -- facebook is now a proper noun and the spellcheck insists it must be capitalised
American English WTF ! JFO
