hi guys am a new user of the iphone and would appreciate any assistance, i have the iphone 4s 64gb with software 5.0.1, and am wondering if the jailbreak is out for these fones, is so please point me in the direction as to where i can get the relevant info on how to jailbreak it

Jailbreak is out, not sure if they have released one with a GUI but the one through command prompt is pretty simple.
