What to do?

I've been struggling with this problem for so many weeks..GOOGLED it, multi posted on multiple forums, asked friends, but to no avail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW THE FSUK DO I CONNECT MY SE X10 MINI TO THE FSUKING INTERNET USING WIFI..

/Calming down.

I have connected to my router successfully. I have multiple accounts and need to use an uncapped one. Do I need to setup an APN and what details do I enter for server etc etc.

PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM SO I CAN GET SOME SLEEP

If you have connected to the router it should work. APN's are only for connecting through the phone networks. Turn your mobile data off and Wi-fi on, does it show that you are connected to your network or not? The account you use is configured on the router, not the phone.

It's probably your router/modem that's not set up properly if the phone is showing as connected.

He/She/IT is using router in bridge mode by the sounds of things. So once connected to the wifi the phone needs to DIAL a PPPOE account. Not sure if thats possible...

Could be. There might be an app to do that, but standard Android doesn't have the function to dial the connection. Where is the OP, by the way?

Your router is using bridged mode. You need to set it up using routed mode. That way your router connects to the net and you connect to the router. You need to log onto the router using a pc and insert your isp details on the routers "interface."

AHA!

Thanks.

PS. The only bridge I know about is the one you cross to get over a river or any such obstacle..

You say you don't know about bridges, but you also quote someone telling you to use router mode. So obviously you must know the difference between the two. I was just asking.
