Need assistance to figure this out....

I am currently staying in Hermanstad, PTA.

During the year Metro fiber was installing in our area. (See Coverage attached)
A fiber cable was installed in front of my gate as well a couple of months ago.(Attached photo's)

Last week a lady from Vox came past our house and tried to get me to sign up.
I inquired when the network would go live and was informed that it would be month end.
Month end came and the areas around me was activated as indicated on Metro's network.
No other providers show any work in the area that I could find.

Now here is where my logic fails me:
Metro fiber installs area and I have a cable at my gate, but according to Metro I have no coverage.
Sure enough their coverage map show Hermanstad as not covered, but everything around me is covered by Metro...

So how do I go about finding out who's fiber is installed in front of my gate?

I really reeeeaaaalllllyyyyyy want to move away from my current provider (Rain)

Any assistance would be appreciated

Looks like it's listed in the order portal.

Probably still in early stages.

You can drop me a pm with your address so I can double check the exact address and if you signup with Afrihost I can ask Metro if there is an ETA on live date for you?

MetroFibre also offers free TP installations while the rollout is in progress if you wanted to get the termination point installed so long but most ISPs including us cover that also for new installs.

We would love to welcome you to our network. We update our coverage map weekly and once Metrofibre moves the area from "Project" phase to "live" and installs their ONT then we will be able to activate your service on RocketNet and you will be able to authenticate using your PPPoE credentials.
