im using a dlink router that has wireless but my house id quite big and has different levels that can pose a prob for the signal

yes except good value for money like the yagi except powerful and can sustain speed

Try and get hold of a 7dBi Omni.. I had the same problem and it solved the problem...

Not sure what they cost though....

I just got a "screw-on" (R-SMA) from a friend of mine.... just remove the original antenna and screw this one on...

Remember - for every metre of cable you add.. you're stealing db's from the whole potential.

Just went to look - this one is a Linksys HG (High Gain) A75 antrenna.
