Hallo is there any programmers on this forum,I need help i got a payroll software exe sixe 2.7mb i need to remove the text on top of the program interface and i need the payslip that prints out to be larger about half the page of a A4

Thanks in advance

This is either:
1 An advert for open source software, where you can continue to support the software after the original provider disappears
2 Why software developers use DRM to try to prevent use of software outside purchased licence allowances

Cautionary note: ppl... please check the file for a virus before just downloading and running. You have no idea what it may be.

Looks dodge??? Readme.txt inside the zip says:
Note:

If you are going to install the new Payroll software to the same location as your old software, all data will be overwritten including the database.

You need to save your old database to another location before installing the new software if you need to use your previous data. After installing the new software, replace the new database with the old one

Good luck.

$17.00 - that really isn't much for payroll software. Why not just pay the money and get the un"branded" version of the software?

You the same guy that wanted a 2nd hand mobile site setup by scrapping some UK ones. LOL, and you really think we are going to help you.

But anyway, thanks for the laugh. I really needed it today.

WTF, Thats why i love the Indians when it comes to sh*t like this.

Oh dear - I hope you didn't get yourself "hooked" (i.e. you're running your business or a client's business on it) on some "cheap" payroll shareware software (which you didn't register or pay for up front) and now you're up the creek because the philippines based developer has abandoned the project.

Buy something local so you can get support and local expertise (tax tables, laws, etc).

Indians??? :wtf:

I think he means developers from India who, he believes, would be happy to hack a .exe file for him

[little known fact - one of the first 'serious' viruses was written by an Indian Developer to 'punish' people who pirated Lotus 123]
