Have you tried any of the freeware options I give you?
If you're just using the program to give some boys working on a truck their payslip, I don't think the text on the top should be a problem

yip and payroll5 is beter, Yes but remember those boys will produce the payslip to a bank for loans or to get a topup cell contract or what ever.

But these boys don't use the software... they only receive the payslip from you... the writing is on the program not the payslip....

There are many "real" developers here, just not so sure how many unethical ones are here.

I really don't think you understand programming at all. EXE is a complied file and for one to edit it you would need to reverse engineer it.

So go insult developers somewhere else or give your Injins a calling

PS: I have a problem with your signiture since online poker is illegal in this country and your promoting it.

What what what let me get this one right i'm the nerd and you are the Drag Queen with the handbag. LOL

thanks for the laugh. I really needed it at 12am :D

You're the one who wants people to reverse engineer, decompile, edit and recompile shareware software for you for free just so that your boys working on a truck can have a good till slip because you can't be bothered to use freeware? :wtf:

Tell you what, You install the freeware that u recommended and try to add an employee and create a payslip, then install payroll5 and compare it to the 2 freeware u recommended.

Well what is your price to do the reverse engineering

Well, this thread went south rather fast.

@cbrundonza He's not worth it.

@NathanCrow It's obvious you're not going to get what you want from this forum, so I would suggest posting somewhere else where you might get a better response. For the record, I have reverse-engineered software before, but it was justified by the client (who owned the rights to the software, but the developer held the source code as ransom). We have the skills, as mentioned above, but it takes time to do so, and there is open-source (free, libre) software out there that you could easily migrate to, and modify to your hearts content.

Slinging mud pies over the fence soils both parties (no matter how much fun it may be). (That saying is now officially copyright 2010 me. :))

You should put it in your signature in nice red text. That's just the way of copyrighting things on this board, ya know? ;)

Please can we ban this guy for soliciting illegal activity.

Caught up on this thread now.

wow... just wow. So much troll feeding. Let me partake a little.

Nathan, go do a little reading up on what's involved in reading through a compiled application, grabbing the source, modifying it and recompiling it. I guarantee you it would be cheaper to purchase a full retail version of whatever industry leading software is out there. And you'd still have change for a beer to sip on while you install it with your feet up on your desk.

Alternatively, have you emailed the developer to ask to purchase the software? Or tried other software?

Now run along and stop insulting the developers here.
