Hi,

We need an existing website recreated. The code is too broken and insecure to stay manageable.

It involves the following:

- It needs to look and feel the same as the current site with a few changes. Very basic 90's look & feel to it.
- There is a backend which allows admin users to manage the website content themselves.
- 3 different forms. Contents stored and emailed. Need a button to export content to excel.
- 2 customizable banners/ads per page.
- Will be self hosted on Linux so php/MySQL etc.
- 1 month to finish.

It is a property development website. Admin users need to add projects which include pictures, prices, sizes, plans and agents specific to each project. The forms on the project pages send out mail to agents associated with the specific project.

1. What do you think the budget should be?
2. Anyone interested? PM for more info.

At the moment I have started looking abroad as I have not had much success with locals. People seem interested at first but then stop responding once they realize that wordpress/joomla might not be an easy option. The site is not complicated but it does not seem like it will be free/easy money thanks to a quick template copy & paste.

Can you give the link to the current website?

Cool thanks. My first thought would be to just replace it with a CMS with a few plugins and a custom theme.

to export the content to excel might be a little challenging but I'm sure someone will be able to write a little php script to read from the cms backend db and write it to excel.

The other thing is that the people who used to manage the content will have to learn to use the new system and users does not like change.

I'm not a web developer, just my 2c.

Thanks for the reply. Agree about the CMS and users not liking change. The first few comments will probably be about how much worse the new site is once its done :D
