Need Desktop solution

Hi there and thanx for your help.

I'm in the market for a new desktop computer for myself. I'm doing a little web design with Dreamweaver, use Photoshop and a little home movies (Corel PhotoStudio). I currently have Win XP Prof, Nvida 8500 screen card, 5Gig Ram and 2 x 160Gig HDD and a nice 21" monitor. I will keep the monitor.

I had a look at this offer from Incredible:

But, later on I thought by myself: I don;t need a new monitor; I don't need a touch screen and these machines' HDD are almost always partitioned and you cannot touch D:

So, can I not, for less money, buy myself a nice desktop solution. I want to have at least 1Tb of HDD. I thought of "building" my own from here:

but I am not familiar with all the accessories and differences between processors and so on.

Is there something you can suggest, like in building blocks for a desktop application? I would like Windows 7 as OS.

Be nice with all technical naming.

For R13 000 you can do a lot better than that Packard Bell.

If you have the know how, ordering the parts often works out cheaper.

I personally like places like www.sybaritic.co.za and www.take2.co.za, even www.kalahari.net for buying parts. There are a lot more out there, so best shop around before deciding.

for R13 000 you can get an i7(very strong) processor and a very decent graphics card. Plas 2X 1TB HDD's and 6GB RAM

Would you be willing to put it together yourself or do you need the supplier to physically build it for you?
